Perhaps you have a vested interest in keeping things as they are. 
The point is really about the inadequacies of the party system.
Party politics is totally flawed and unsuitable for the purpose of running the country efficiently and for the benefit of its people. 

The suggestion of putting good people into positions where they can do the most good for us all is merely pragmatic.  
Voting LibDem, Labour or for the Tories in my local constituency in a year or so is not going to get things done right now. 
You speak as if one has to have a &#039;chosen party&#039;, without questioning the status quo.
Shame.</description>

It&#039;s choosing between sets of values and ideas. If you rate Vince higher than the rest then vote for his party. If on balance you prefer another lot, vote for them. 

If your chosen party seems like a wasted vote in your seat, then vote for a party that backs electoral reform. Oh hang on that&#039;s Vince&#039;s lot too.... :-)</description>
